Don't know how you are pulling up these stats, but this is really really cool. According to this, there are only two carbon black M6 GC's out there! If my country dealer can do it, I might be the third. And with 343Ms instead of the stock 433M!

BMW Individual will paint the car pretty much any colour you want, you'll just have to wait for a build slot and pay for it! You can also specify any colour for the interior, even each part of the interior, have extra parts covered in leather or Alcantara, have stitched logos etc. on the seats, have the chrome parts in dark chrome, there are lots of things you can do that many dealers don't realise.

Interesting to think back to the M6GC track day in Austin TX. There was quite a variety there and apparently some rare for the US.

Many of the early press cars have options that are not available on production cars, or don't have options that are on all production cars. They also tend to have a pretty good set of options to show them off to the press.

S8LTA is the option code for Taiwan, 29 cars.
Are you saying you would like the detailed stats just for cars in Taiwan? |

Explains why I still haven't seen another M6GC on the road here in SoCal.. these are rare cars. Not sure how these cars were distributed, but I was told in August, that only 36 were allocated for the entire Southern California market....of over 17 million people.

Update as of end Feb 2014.
I've changed the stats a little, adding date ranges for the various options and a graph of numbers produced per day at the end. The source of the data has been changed, so the exact names may be slightly different. I've found that the data needs to be cross referenced between different sources to get accurate data. I've also added data for the special editions, including a new one that appeared in cars built in February, 'M Package Dark Chrome' |
