Any know where to get this grill?

I have been lurking around for quite some time and have never seen this grill anywhere but on the tii concept. has anyone ever seen this grill for sale or on any other cars besides the BMW made concept?

I think that grille would have a major negative impact on airflow. At speed air would just flow up and over those tiny little holes...

I'm not sure it would make much difference. There's plenty of frontal opening on these cars even if you completely closed the grill off.

It's the tii car that BMW produced with all of the BMW performance upgrades. It's quite a beast but they do not sell the grills separately. We can look into having them made if you guys like them but I am not a huge fan.

That is BMW kit. Unless something has changed in the last 2 years, that grill not not available. Same with the cf hood, which I would buy in a heartbeat.

If anything it would have better airflow...each individual slat is made from the mesh if I am not mistaken....

They are, but small holes like that don't add up as well. Every surface creates turbulance and reduces the effective opening. When you've got mesh like this, even if the total actual open area adds up to more than the original design, it's unlikely it they will flow as well.

But even then I don't think cooling will be an issue, becuase there's a huge opening right below them that's more than enough.

i wouldn't be worried about overall engine cooling, but the temperature of the air in the intake (which feeds partly from the kidneys). since it's a turbo car, it doesn't benefit much from air being forced into the intake, but colder, denser air in the intake always helps. as such, i have to give it thumbs down on concept and aesthetics.
