Semantics/Nomenclature
What is the term/word BMW, and other companies, use when they replace an item or fix an issue not covered under warranty and not a recall? It’s not comping but it’s _____? Can’t think of the word and it’s killing me 😆! TIA!

At Ford we use to call it Goodwill (or Goodwill warranty) if we fixed something for free out of warranty. If the customer pays it was COD (cash on demand). Every shop has different terms for it.
