H&R VTF Springs, 10mm TMS Wheel Spacers, Black Kidney Grills - Alpina B6 GC
A few more mods completed recently.
I adjusted the ride height of my H&R VTF Springs. Great system, and provides decent adjustability. The front is set about midway, and the rear is at its lowest setting. I am happy with the height, as I no longer scrape over speed bumps, and the car no longer has the severe front rake. I installed the Turner Motorsports large face spacers. I went with 10mm front and rear, and I think it’s just about right. Not overly aggressive. Black kidney grills installed today. Pain to get the original grills out, but worth the 25 mins effort. |

No rubbing at all, which is great! I highly recommend the VTF Springs if you want to be able to dial in your preferred ride height. Last edited by polar993; 02-18-2019 at 03:12 PM.. |

It’s easiest if the car is up on a lift, but I ended up making the adjustments by simply jacking the car up with a quality floor jack. I did one wheel at a time, making a note of how many turns of the adjustment spindles I was making. It is a bit of trial and error to get the exact ride height you desire, but totally worth the effort! I have to say, I am very happy with the springs. The amazing ride quality of the Alpina was not at all compromised! |

Thanks your alpina is beautiful. I was actually looking for one prior to purchasing my 650 but couldn't find one that checked all the boxes.
I have purchased the regular hr sport springs but now I'm contemplating this set up. I like the ability to adjust . I assume u just need to make sure both side are the Same. Lol |

The VTF adjustable springs are about twice the cost of the standard sport springs (about $700), but I think it’s a worthy investment to provide the adjustability to dial-in your preferred ride height.

My wife doesn't allow me to have a true Man Cave, so my garage is my sanctuary! Can't wait till the spring to do a full cleaning and take some of my rides out of their hibernation! Including this one.... |
