E92 Jerez Black M3 looking to wrap hood?
Hello, I currently have an e92 M3 in Jerez black with BC forged HB29 wheels. The centers are gunmetal , lips and barrels gloss black. I've been thinking about having a matte or frozen color vinyl put on the hood. But I have a few questions. First would the roof and trunk lid also need to be wrapped to bring everything together or would the hood only look good? Also what color vinyl would everyone suggest that would go well with jerez black and my wheel color? Thank you for you're time.

about the only color that will look acceptable for just the hood is like a nice carbon fiber vinyl wrap. I think anything else would look severely out of place.

I thank everyone for their opinion. I wasn't sure if this was a good idea or not. I've been seeing a frozen blue e92 m3 right near my job which looks great. So it got me thinking about wraps or partial wraps. So I wanted to see opinions on the subject.

Haha, your right, those photos do look a bit different. Definitely can see the blue in the jerez black paint. I'm not totally sure why Ive even considered a wrap being I love the Jerez Black color so much. I guess in my mind if I had it wrapped it would be like I bought a new car. lol

Has anyone had any experience with liquid wraps? I've been told about that process this past week. I never knew it existed. Has anyone seen a liquid wrap in person? Thoughts?

Thats what I was worried about. A color looking totally out of place. Ive been throwing the idea around and just looking for opinions. I feel like I need a change. But I dont want to make a change in the wrong direction...

I think your probably correct. It seems some people are totally against wrapped cars. But I see more and more of them. Im only considering it to change things up. Just not sure its a good idea.

How's the paint? I would consider a detailed paint correction. It's amazing how removing those small swirls and scratches bring out the beautiful Jerez colour. This does make the car feel and look like a new car!

The paint is in good shape but definitely has some scratches I'd like removed. The hood has two rock nicks that bother me. But your probably right, a nice detail to showcase the beautiful paint is probably a good idea. I think sometimes I just want a little change. So I thought a wrap or liquid wrap would be the answer. I just haven't seen liquid wrap in person yet. But it's way more affordable than vinyl. I'm loving the frozen blue and frozen black. I'm just not sure if it's a good idea. Lol
