Bluetooth disconnecting every ~60 seconds - any idea why?
Hi all,
I recently upgraded to an iPhone 6 and was listening to podcasts on the m3 and SOMETIMES (not everytime), the bluetooth stops streaming every 60 seconds or so. The problem is best described this like: the audio stops streaming (while the phone continues playing it) and the iDrive menu goes back to the general "media" menu giving you your media options. If I re-click on my iPhone, it immediately begins streaming/playing the audio again. So it seems as though this is a iDrive-sided issue, not a phone issue, Since it started happening, it happens about 75% of the time but occasionally it will simply work as it's supposed to....which again, makes me think this is an iDrive issue. Anyone else experience this or know what could cause it? Recommendations. Quite annoying.

You might first want to borrow another iphone 6 and test that out first to see if it disconnects as well. I have the same issue in the Acura with my personal iphone 6. The work Iphone 6 never disconnects. I have tried restoring the software, etc but no luck so far. Will have Apple swap out my Iphone and see if that fixes it.

I have the exact same problem and it's very annoying. I've been using the USB cable instead but have read that the software update would help. My cars in the shop getting some work done so I'll ask them to update it and see if it helps.
