If you're a fan of the new 6-series convertible, this 25+ min. of stock video footage should be a treat. The video features the 650i convertible on location in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa. The clip features driving scenes, exterior design, engine, and interior design segments.

Looks good BUT why isn't this a Hardtop? With the E92 M3 'vert having a Hardtop at a lower cost why would anyone in the market for a BMW convertible buy anything else?

Beyond that the exterior/interior design fit and finish are top notch. Look forward to seeing the finished coupe and eventually the M.

Because its ugly. Cloth hoods are much prettier, lighter and less complicated.

We're in the minority but I agree. I would rather fish for a used M6 than get a new one of these. It's just lacking the "oomph" I was looking for in an eighty+ thousand dollar auto.

I agree about the m6, but I think the new 650i looks FAR better in this video than in the photos!
