Pops and Bangs X3M40i

Hey everyone,

i have a question about the pops and bangs at my currently bought X3M40i from 2019or in gerneral.
Before that i had an BMW M240i from 2019. There was a trick if you go to Comofort Mode and deactivated the dsc or activated the traction button the exhaust got extrem pops and bangs for a certain time. Both cars had/have an OPF/PPF.

At my new X3M40i from the same year this trick doesnt work anymore

Does anyone know why or is there another trick how i can force bigger popps and bangs?

Pops and bangs piss off people in every town in every state. It's obnoxious and will further create new laws that will ensure modding vehicles becomes very unsavory for everyone.

Please, mod your car tastefully if it's a street daily driver car

I don't think the OP is looking for "constant" Pop's and Bangs just because he asked about the trick but I know what your saying.

It got played out but some cars with people who modify the exhaust with the sole intention of more pops and bangs.

The M340i I had straight piped was pretty bad...I had it around 2019 which was a little before everyone got crazy with the burble tunes and so on.

The X3M Pops are reasonable and should be okay in moderation....its those cars that literally sound like a machine gun that bother me...especially when they are not even fast cars.

I see Kia's with burbles now which is different from an X3M with a tune at least in my eyes.

Some cars pop and bang without even tuning them just by the exhaust mods done in combination with the turbocharged engines.

When I modified my M340 I did not intend on the pops. They were infrequent and quite aggressive only downshifting at high speed or upshifting you would get that BRRAP which i loved.

Now my 6MT downshifting from 4th to 3rd is my favorite activity. You get that BRRRRAP
