Any idea what could be causing the mild hybrid problem?
I currently own a mild hybrid car produced in 2020.
A long time ago, I pressed the P button on the stick while braking to slow down, just before coming to a complete stop. Since then, coasting has become less effective, and the car has been slowing down on downhill slopes, almost completely recharging the battery. There have been no fault codes or charging issues. When this issue didn't occur, the engine would always shut off when I released the accelerator or applied the brakes. Now, there is no starter motor sound, and when you step on the accelerator and then release it, regenerative braking occurs, pulling the car from behind rather than moving forward with driving force. Is it a starter generator (ISG) problem or a transmission problem? I need expert help. Thanks, |
