B58 Coolant Low

Hi guys,

Although I haven't had any 'low coolant' messages appear.

I was made aware of the common coolant issues with the B58 and checked mine today, the main coolant reservoir was sitting at 'min'. And the intercooler one was sitting slightly below min. (pics attached, hard to make anything of them though).

UPDATE: My dumbass didn't realise that the coolant levels should be at low/min if the car is stone cold? I haven't driven it for about 2 days. Is that right?

Is it okay for me to top both up with just distilled water? I'm going to order a new cap too, as there was a bit of white stuff which indicates some may have leaked through the cap.

Refill and monitor. Some people have leaks; for others it is a one-and-done deal. Quick fix is to regrease the threads on the cap, as they are known to leak as they dry out from heat cycling.

I also removed my engine cover to reduce the ridiculous amount of heat in the engine bay
