Bought a Used 2014 M6 with 45K miles, what do i need to fix up?
These were the last major maintenance items done on the car before I bought:
23k miles/aug2018 differential flush 42K miles August 2023 oil change 18K August 2017 brake fluid flush I plan on bleeding the brakes tomorrow myself as well as doing a liquimoly engine flush as well as oil change using Liquimoly 0w20. Going to try run diagnostics with bimmerlink Is there anything else you would recommend getting checked/maintaining soon? also, I noticed the carfax shows the oil changes were done at valvoline… is that of concern? |

0w20 wouldn’t be ideal, too thin. Do a search on here and on f10 forum. Lots of topics on oil but I think 20 would be a no go. There are also many posts/YouTube about the engine flush…probably snake oil.
I would start with oil change, charcoal delete, intake filter, cabin filters, plugs and coils. Just my 2cents. |
