2012 650i convertible top access panel removal

Hi,

The access panel on the driver's side broke and I need to remove it. Any guidance on how to remove it? Picture attached.

Thanks,
greg

You have to remove the entire back seat then the panel where you are attempting to make repairs. After you do that, you’ll need a heat gun to remove the folding panel in the picture (assuming it’s not retractable properly) along with some screws. Then just replace it and put it all back together.
