17 650xi convertible purchase

hey guys just purchased a new to me 17 650xi converible with 31k miles.
The service history wasn't the greatest on carfax and it mostly just showed 3 oil changes and 4 servicings at Bentley dealer in Indianapolis. So i really don't know exactly what was done at those.

Any suggestions on what servicing i should take care of right away?

Appreciate it..

At 31k, not that much. An oil change can't hurt if not done recently. Flush the brake fluid if not done in the last couple years. Check your engine air filters and cabin air filters. Check brake pad thickness. That's about it.

Ditto…with only 31k on the odometer…the car wasn’t driven lots of miles over its life…so it looks like the previous owner followed the CBS (condition based service) interval of 10k/12 months for oil changes.

Assuming simple calculations from the age & mileage…the car appears to have been driven approx 6k miles a year…thus the previous owner probably changed the oil every 12 months.

If the car was being serviced by BMW and Bentley…do you really think they let the car go unserviced? I would look at the SERVICE REQUIRED screen in iDrive to see when the next CBS SERVICES are due (you’ll see month/mileage).

Your 2017 iDrive’s screen looks slightly different from my 2014/ 2015 BMWs NBT ID4 …but the data displayed is basically the same…and should reveal when the next services are due. A red icon indicates service is overdue, amber means service has come due, and green means OK.
