Those with an MMI box installed, help please!

I have an MMI box installed from Andream. Having gone ot use my cheapo bluetooth OBDII module, I've found that Bimmercode can no longer connect. Seems others have had the same issue too when they have an MMI box installed.

My question: will this stop BMW from accessing the OBD using their computers? My 640d is in for a service and EGR Recall tomorrow and I want to ensure they can use their tools.

To conclude this thread, the MMI box wasn't even detected by the service staff, and the service was added to the iDrive... all £580 of it eek

I totally removed mine because I couldn’t register my battery with it using bimmer code. Better to do the evo head unit upgrade and be done with it. That’s my next step

maybe you guys need to reset your mmi? i can do mhd, bimmercode, read codes etc with mmi installed
