Climate Control Cut off

My climate control in my 2014 F06 has stopped working, there isnt any function or lights. Everything else works fine. Should I check fuse?

Have you had any aftermarket electronics installed recently? Checking the fuses would be the easy low hanging fruit to go after first.

If one can’t understand the icons on the fuse index sheet...note that the icons on the sheet matches the icons on the button & switches inside the car as well as the owners manual.

The entire climate control is out, including the backlight of it.

Was there ever any update to the fix for this? Currently experiencing the same issue on my ‘16 F06 M6. Randomly started car and no power to climate controls nor the radio buttons. Radio still comes on with the steering wheel controls.

Update- Disconnected the battery for about 20 min, reconnected and all is well. Climate and radio controls are illuminated and regained functionality. Not sure what caused my issue.

Electronics gremlins are common when you try to start on a low battery.

Yea, I’ll keep an eye on the battery for sure. May soon be time to change it because I checked it with Bimmerlink and it reflected an 83% state of charge.
