Exhaust
Ok so I pull the trigger on a Eisenmann Race for my 2016 M6GC and i hate it and i don't know what i was thinking, i don't how guys are using this exhaust with catless DP. it's just not for me. I'm looking for a nice exhaust with preferably no drone and valved control. Ive heard great things about Turners exhaust and it dosesn't break the bank. Any thoughts guys. HELP!

I’m sure you’ll have no problem unloading that Eisenmann system on the forum. Had this been some months back, I’d be taking it off your hands. As for Tuner, it’s basically a muffler delete with no valve controls. Check out Meisterschafts GTC valved system - It’s currently on sale right now. If it’s still steeper than what you want to fork out, I’d just go with catless downpipes. No drone with doing either of the two set ups mentioned.

I almost purchased the Eisenmann Sport (I NEEDED valve control), paid for it and everything, but the wait time was longer than expected. Got a fair deal on an Akra and just sent the difference. I wont bore you with attempting to describe the sound, and sound clips just don’t work, but there’s a word I found on a few posts on this and the M5 forums, and it was “exotic”, and that pretty much describes it. I have it programmed to keep the valves open in Sports or Sports plus and keep them OEM in Comfort. It’s intoxicating in the mid/high range, and there’s no drone. And my neighbors still love me.

I also went the Akrapovic (cat-back) (I left the cats and down-pipes) so I second the recommendation of Mr. M6. So sweet... not crazy and no drone - doesn't wake the neighbors on early morning starts
As for cost, I was lucky enough to find a used system a couple years ago (somebody had it on a lease and took it off before they returned it), so cost was very reasonable. Maybe you could get lucky and find a used one. |

I have the Dinan exhaust (and intake) and have been happy with it. Nice sound. Not too loud. No drone that I've noticed.
My neighbor has the Supersprint exhaust and it sounds good, especially with the valves open. |
