Hi Bimmerposters i Would like to introduce you to my brand new 650i.
I orderd it 71 days ago and today I had the first sight of my beauty. She can seem extremly high because of transport mode block in the suspension (blue) Next post will be from the delivery day. 300 Alpine White ZBOW BMW Invidual full leather trim, Opal White Standard equipment 1CC Auto Start Stop function 1CD Brake Energy Regeneration 2PA Locking Wheel Bolts 423 Floor mats in velour 430 Interior and exterior mirrors with automatic anti-dazzle function 494 Seat heating for driver and front passanger 508 Park Distance Control 4U2 ECO PRO moad swich Optional equipment 223 Electronic Damper Control (EDC) 229 Dynamic Drive 2VA Adaptive Drive 302 Alarm System 322 Comfort access system 323 Soft Close Automatic system for doors 337 M Sport package 2NM 20" M alloy wheels Double-spoke style 373 M with mixed tyers 456 Comfort seats front, elecrically adjustable 488 Lumbard support for driver and front passenger 4UR Ambient interior lighting 5A1 LED fog lights 710 M Leather seering wheel 715 M areodynamics package 760 BMW Invidual high-gloss Satin Chrome XE7 BMW Invidual interior trim Piano finish, black 358 Climate comfort windscreen 387 Wind deflector 3AG Backup camera 3YA Softop Black 441 Smoker's package (But I don't smoke) 453 Active seat ventilation , front 455 Active seat for driver and front passenger 4U1 Ceramic aplication on control panels 552 Adaptive LED headlights 5AC High-beam assistant 5DF Active cruise control with Stop&Go function 5DL Surround View 609 Navigation system Professional 610 Head-Up Display 614 BMW Internet access 615 BMW Internet activation 6AL BMW Live 644 Preparation for mobile phone with Bluetooth interface 696 DVD changer for 6 discs 6F2 Bang & Olufsen High End Surround Sound Sound System 6FL USB-audio interface 6NF extended connectivity of the music player in the mobile phone 6NR BMW Apps 6UK BMW Night Vision with object recognition 7NH BMW Service 5 years/100.00km 8AT Polish/Owner's Handbook / Service Booklet 8TH Speed Limit info After 5900km : My BMW DEALER wrote a report to BMW AG what to do they said "change the engine" From before Christmas till 17January my BMWwas in the dealership. Their excuse was "We are waiting for a engine specialist to come from BMW AG to look at your engine" I had enough so I called one of the bosses of BMW Poland and said told him about my situation and that I'm totally not satisfied with their attitude to me. He said he will help me and he sent a specialist the next day. The specialist looked at the engine , cleaned everything and said that there is no sign of oil (6l). They told me to do 1000km or come when the oil warning is on. I came after 1000km with out and oil warning. Still waiting for one more research in the engine by the specialist. The most weird thing is that the specialist said that the engine is at the end of the "brake-in period" after 7000km and it is possible that it takes 1l of oil for 1000km. I checked the owners manual 10 times and it said "drive gently for first 1500-2500km" not 7000km I drive this car extremely gently because of the Oil problem * before Christmas I decide to take my iPhone cable from the 650i. I asked my service assistant to give me the keys. I meet my 650i under 15cm of snow. I was more than furious not only because that it was under the snow but also because it was the only cabrio on the Parking. I went back to the service assistant And asked what the F**** is this that my car is under the snow?? He said it is a grate oversight and that he can only say sorry. I told him to immediately drive it in their garage. Next day i came in the dilership it was already inside the garage and clean. BMW is the "Ultimate driving machine" not standing in the BMW dilership. Last edited by FANBMWM; 09-13-2012 at 04:50 PM.. |

Stunning!!! I need to see this beast ASAP. I'm almost as excited about seeing your car as I was about getting mine. It's the "Individual Effect," I believe

I placed my order yesterday, I can't believe I still probably have at least 70 days to go. Before you order you think 2 months or so isn't too bad but once you place the order anything more than a month feels like a year.

FANBMWM, Excellent build! Congratulations! Being an Individual car with M-Sport package, does it come with the Individual Illuminated door sills or the ///M door sills? |

I am leasing the car so by March the residual is going to go down and I am going to have to order it either way so I don't see me getting as good as a deal as I am getting now. My other option would be to wait until my2014, but I just don't have that much patience. I am hoping they will have a retrofit for it later. But then again I am only going to have the car for 2-3 years so I am also not that worried about it. One more thing to add, even if I wait until march, the chances are the touch system will be out in 2014 so I will still be behind the times again. Last edited by dsad1; 09-13-2012 at 09:29 AM.. |

All this waiting for the next little enhancement is just silly IMO. You may as well get the car now and enjoy it. If you keep waiting you will never get it because you'll always be worried about some changes. Unless there is a pending facelift I wouldn't worry about something as small as an updated idrive controller, IMO. The 6-Series is only in its 2nd year and no real changes are happening for a while.

She's truly a beaut. The night time shot with the led headlamps and illuminated door handles showcases her very well. Congratulations again!

That Opal/Piano interior is stunning. I have nothing but highly inappropriate comments to make regarding the sexiness of your car, and I think it best to keep them to myself. Gorgeous! I'd love to see some more interior pics (details, big picture, everything!) .

I haven't seen it on the white exterior in real life, but I think the white definitely shows the lighting better than the dark in the pictures. Comparing the black in real life to the pictures, I think the black is more pronounced in real life than the pictures show, but I don't think it is as pronounced as the white in the pictures. Does that make any sense? lol
Here's Southern's idiot's guide to 6er handle illumination. Most pronounced to least pronounced: White Ext. Pics --> Black Ext. Real Life --> Black Ext. Pics Answering the truly thought provoking and highly technical questions - that's what I'm here for lol

Very nice., that white on white looks good. Everytime I see the full LED lighting I kick myself. Maybe next summer i'll get them.
