I want people to get their hands on the m6 NOW so we can see some real raw racing/tracking footage and really find out what this thing can do.

"strongest M car line up yet"
We went from lightweight (relatively) roadsters and coupes with raw inline-6 motors and 6-spd transmissions to oversized turbo charged v8 sedans and SUV's with automatic transmissions. M3 is on it's last year... the only M cars I see are the M5, M6, X5M, X6M. M is definitely not about motorsports anymore, it's about selling fancy exclusive marketing badges to the rich... not that I wouldn't be doing the same if I was running the business but it's hard to get excited about cars as such. I can only hope the next M3 will bring some excitement back to the brand. |

Did not know that the M6 vert was out yet. Saw a beautiful black/black cruising on the highway this morning he did a nice pull from 80-115mph made a very nice noise, wasn't expecting that.

The new range of M and M Performance models is really exciting!
The future M2 and M3 are for sure the enthusiast' cars, but they have to sell also larger models if it is such a demand for them |

I'm shocked at the negativity towards the M line up. I don't believe there's anything else like it from any manufacturer.
M takes a great BMW base cars and up converts them to significantly sportier and more luxurious models. I think it's perfectly ok for them to apply this treatment to multiple models. The 650i is big, hence the M6 is big. The new three series is nimble and light, therefore the next M3 will be nimble and light. It's even been confirmed by BMW the next M3 will be lighter, faster, and bring back the coveted inline 6. Also, these cars are gorgeous. No denying it. And if they're "more expensive", that's because they offer much more in terms technology and quality. |

The latest issue of C&C has a comparo where the F10M come in last in its class, for what it's worth. It's also noteworthy that cars in general are becoming heavier, more luxurious, and less involving, so picking on BMW is partly unfair.
