The car has not even been on the road and the brake discs already have rust?
That's looks so cheap! An M5 F10 at my dealer has the same problem, looks totaly insane for a 150.000 Euro car! Cant they treat the dics in something to stop that? |

They have the same exact combination at a local dealer here in MA. It is absolutely stunning and considering the price of this vehicle for the performance that you get, there is very little in the car market that can give you what this car has.
For under a 130k (this was the sticker price on the vehicle that has all the same options and packages shown here) there are very very few true 2+2 convert coupes that compare. Actually human beings can sit in the rear seats! If anyone is going to buy this car from MA I would be slightly concerned as I drove past this car last weekend when it was out for a drive and whoever was driving it surely was driving it too hard and had the revs way too high for a brand new car. I will say the exhaust note out of the factory in person was amazing and I lost my train of thought for a second when It drove by me doing Mach 1. |

You do understand what I'm talking about, this is not OK on a new 150.000 euro car. Look at this E63 2011. 25000km. New M6 |

I agree. A little cadmium plating or zinc coating on the non-contact areas would solve that problem with negligible costs. |

Guys this color was A M A Z I N G in person! Rust what rust!? I could care less. This San Marino Blue was just such a "wow" color. And I have seen a lot of Individual color BMW's. This would be at the top of my list of must have colors.

Thanks for photos. Dackelone, how about comparing SMB to ILB after seeing the colours with own eyes? ILB is darker or something else?
This rust "problem" is no problem at all. Just give enough pedals to your car and that's it. All rusty areas are covered with pad dust just after couple of harder braking. And if you just cruise around without proper use of brakes & power, no idea of going to M car anyway.

ILB = Interlagos Blue has more of a purple hue to it in certain light conditions. The San Marino Blue (SMB) has much more depth to it with none of the color shift that ILB has. SMB has more of a "pop" or brightness too. It's hard to explain. San Marino Blue is my favorite color now. |

Looks great. My local dealer has one with the exact same options in their showroom that I was drooling over on Wednesday. Top was up and car was locked, so I could only drool on the windows.

It is a great looking color indeed.
It would be neat to see some side-by-sides with an MCB F10 M5 and an E2B F30 M Sport. All three of these current BMW M colors are excellent, but it would be tough to pick a favorite without seeing them all at the same time.
