The 2013 6 series Gran Coupe has already made its rounds on the auto show circuit, but has never been presented officially in M Sport form yet. Seen here at the BMW Performance Center in South Carolina (thanks to Hardy (robotrenegade)) is the first good look at a fully equipped 6 Series Gran Coupe M Sport. This frozen bronze 650i xDrive Gran Coupe wears the same aggressive, sideskirts and rear diffuser as the M Sport 6 series coupe/convertible M Sport. It rides on the 20" M Sport wheels.

The 6 Series Gran Coupe looks particular good with the M Sport aero parts as it balances out the ends of the rather lengthy body and gives it an added bit of sportiness to the 6GC's sleek dimensions.

We've also reposted below a previous semi-M Sport 6GC in Imola Red, a color only available on the 6 Series Gran Coupe and no other current BMW model. Imola Red hasn't been offered as a standard color since the E85/E86 Z4M.

The 640i Gran Coupe arrives for the US market in early Summer and the 650i Gran Coupe and 650i xDrive Gran Coupe will follow later this Summer.

US pricing for the 640i Gran Coupe starts at $76,895 (full pricing info in the link below).

So the xDrive badge now goes on the trunk lid?

xdrive badge needs to be put back on the door panel. looks so stupid on the trunk. and the gran coupe words in the rear side windows is sooo dumb as well.

The less badges the better. The xdrive badge on the side is an eye sore.

Nice. I just seen an Imola Red 6er coupe with Msport. It looks good, it's so much sleeker than the previous 6er which looked really bulky and heavy.

Is this because it has m-sport package? is that white 6er an x-drive as well?
if not then it would seem to me that

xdrive+msport = about same right height as non-xdrive without sport package

or maybe I'm just an idiot

The M front bumper of 6GC is much nicer than the F10 M sport.

Mercedes started this "4 door coupe" crap with the original CLS. If you squint and pretend this 6 doesn't have rear doors, it does indeed look like a coupe. Regardless of what they call it, it's a beautiful car.

Sorry, I do not get this. If I wanted a four door, I'd get a 3,5 or 7 series.

The proportions on this does look squeezed. The rear door is very close to the rear wheel-well, the front door too short for a coupe.

A coupe has TWO doors. If you need to be reminded, see attached. Note it is an M-sport Sapphire Black with shadowline trim (and soft close doors) to push the buttons of you guys in the States...
