Thanks for sharing excellent photos of both to compare. I know in many circles the Audi A7 is the star of the show...Personally, I think the A7 is a nice car but a bit compromised in the current state (mainly due rear interior *******. I suspect the GranCoupe may not have much rear headroom space either.

That being said, I'm biased - the nod goes to the GranCoupe - especially in "Individual Trim" at first I was questioning if the A7 and the "GC" were in the same class. I guess the 640 and 650 will line up against the A7 3.0T and S7 respectively.

I love the the look of the 6, but the side profile of the audi just does not do it for me, looks odd and out of shape.

The A7 is so ugly it's not Even funny imo.
TKO for the GC!
Just look at the VW dated gearknob, the ugly LCD, the back of the car is perhaps the worst, making the car look heavy and sad imo!
CSL is a more "worthy" competition imo, it's te original.
The A7 can't possibly make a mark next to these two sucsessful designed cars imo!

The audi is really good looking, but the rear end is dissappointing. I don't like the fastback design on the car
I'd take the 6 by a slim margin

The A7 looks like a weird alien creature from the side and rear. Doesn't do it for me. Gran Coupe for me.

Gran Coupe. Not even close. The rear deck is too low on the A7 imo. But dynamically, its gonna be a dog fight between the 650i and S7....

I think that the 6GC should have the option of a glass roof. This would be the perfect car to implement that in and would add a whole new level of luxury.

I much prefer the front of the A7 to the GranSport. The rear of the A7 looks much better in person, and you will probably get more cargo space and rear headroom due to the higher slope, but it still looks a little weird. I'm not crazy about the rear of the GranSport either but it's not bad, it will probably grow on me. Interior would have to go to the BMW. I like the Audi interior too, but things like the T shaped gear shift, 4 spoke steering wheel, and the pop-up nav screen make me like the BMW more. But I do love the matte finished wood in the Audi, the big screen in between the gauges, how more of the controls are located near the gearshift like start button.
They're both amazing cars imho...

edit: I just noticed the GranSport has a third seat belt in the middle...I hope that's just for car seats for children. Sitting there would be quite awkward.

I like the Gran Coupe more, though I think that the A7 is nice as well.

Looking at the interior photos, it looks like significant effort was spent on every square inch of the 6 seems to make it more styled/interesting (materials, lines, light elements, etc.). It's getting close to the point of being overly busy in my opinion. By contrast, the A7 seems to have large areas of the car that have little going on, like the majority of the interior of the rear doors. They've erred on the side of bland.

Looking forward to seeing the Gran Coupe in person.

Bot cars are very nice.. from what i have seen in person the A7 seems to have the upper hand. and the interior comparison isnt exactly fair using an individual option on the sixer.

640i GC is my next car! Love it. I really love that brown / white interior but I wouldn't go with that individual steering wheel. I am going to have wait a few years though, I just ordered a new BMW and still waiting for re-delivery.

BMW 6 GC all the way!
The interior of A7 is not exciting at all
Can t wait to see the comparative between 650 M Sport and S7... The new Panamera GTS might be near them too, the victory of the GC will be more precious

The 6GC looks way better (I think all BMW's look better than all Audi's.) but I don't see it as a coupe, I look at it as another sedan. The Audi actually looks like a 4-door coupe like the CLS. As for interior, 6GC all the way. I liked that BMW styled it so it looked different from the rest of the other models where as the A7 and CLS's interior looked like all other Audi's and Mercedes'. You can say whatever you want about the 6GC, it's expensive, it's looks like another sedan but you can't call it ugly (reading from other message boards), haters will be haters.

Yes I am. The BMW interior is beautiful but I personally think that the Audi interior is nicer. Just cause its a BMW doesn't mean it always is nicer then everything. Audi has always had nice interiors. I think that Mercedes has the ugliest by far though.

Nobody implied that bimmers have to be nicer in everything. He was expressing an opinion. "The Audi interior is nicer" seems like a proven fact to you.
