did you get better 0-60 times and hp gains with +2.75 psi than with +3psi? Did you dyno the car?

Trying out this afternoon if the dyno machine is available.

Let me highlight it 1st, I believed this dyno machine measure way below a lot of other dyno machine. The last time it dyno my n55 640i stock with 320hp at 225ps. So im not expect it to show high numbers. I'm only looking at before n after, sure be 14 hrs from now. Stay tune.....thanks.

I haven’t done that yet but we both agree as there is less hesitation at certain points. The car has a smoother power delivery throughout the rpm range.

What type of gas are you running? 91 or 93?

Yeah, check it out. You are running 94+NOS so running +3 isn't a big deal.

I felt a little lack of power on +2.75 psi tbh, I feel like trying 3.25. By the way, dinan's tune is out.

I just dyno it at +4 psi with 98ron gas plus a bottle of +6ron octane booster. The afr is good from 14 plus lower to 12.5 towards the 4500rpm till red line.

I don't think the M engine is so weak, should have much much more there. Once my meth nozzles is in I'm going to push more.

Humm.... 2.5 is the psi right? Why do u X 1.44 again?

2.5 is not on the bar side, or it should be 0.25bar X 14.4 = 3.6psi or m I missing something?

Well if you are running 94 plus nos I can see why for sure... I will not be doing the Dinan tune. I'm always let down by the results vs price but who knows! Maybe I will check it out.

I'm ok with BMS for now too, thinking about trading the car in september, maybe october, Dinan would be a waste.

I am sure the motor can handle the over boosting but there has to be a point where +4, +6, +7, etc. "might be" overkill on the internals w/ only adding higher octane fuel. I could be wrong but just throwing this out there for conversation.

I know IND is doing some research on the internals; rods, pistons, crank, valves, etc. It will be refreshing if they share information related to the 'breaking point' on the internals. Depending on the timing of their completed research in conjunction with the timing of the ECU cracking we might be in for a world of "safe power" in the near future.

Just an FYI -- Vorsteiner is strongly considering making the side skirts for my M6 Gran Coupe, as I already have their splitter, rear diffuser and decklid spoiler for my M6 GC. I'm waiting to hear back from them soon, but they are definitely considering it. Stay tuned...

PS - Car looks great Mr K -- Vorsteiner was key!
