The free app will show you what you can do but need to buy the full version to actually code. I’ve coded my 6, my mates 6 and an e93 all on the same single purchase of the app so not restricted to one vehicle which is a bonus

So an update.
I have coded my car to sound like an m6 inside on the asm.
I had to go into expert mode on BimmerCode, you need to know your engine codes but apart from that it’s as easy as pie.
Only downside is if I want to turn it off I need to replug BimmerCode.
But I couldn’t care less as it sounds awesome and I love it.
If anyone local to me wants some help just shout me.

Looking to do the same M6 ASD coding you did in my 640dGC.
i have the adapter and bought the full version of bimmercode but chickened out on the engine selection in advanced mode. Can you remember which one you selected.

I have tested different asd settings with bimmercode expert mode extensively in my gran coupe. I found the best, and loudest under load, settings:
model range F13, engine N57D30, Audio level HIfI (which i have in my car), Powerclass OL, Competition Paket No, Country variant ECE, Construction Stage later or equal 07/14.
All other variants of the settings not really improvements…..

Edit: looks like 2013 doesn't even have the active sound option...

burkhacs Only 640d model has it.
i'd love to have that on my 2015 640i. There is a a thread for it at https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1102274 for F30s and seems like people managed to installed the module successfully.
