You're correct that the M6 has lots of power, no doubt. I also have no doubt that a M5, M6, E63S, RS7, etc will pull from a R8 V10 on a highway roll. But aside from this, there really is nothing better about a M6 vs R8 V10. R8 handling, braking, sound, feel, looks, resale, desirability are far superior to the M6. This shouldn't be a revelation to you or anyone else as the M6 is a 4400 lb cruiser and the R8 is a purpose built sports car. In the real world on back roads and on the track, there is no way that 90% of drivers can keep up in their M6 with a R8 V10. Just as you pulled up the acceleration figures, I can pull up lap times such as C&D lightning lap, where the M6 does a lap in 3:04.7 and R8 V10 Plus in 2:57.5. Ring times by Sport Auto, M6 8:09 and R8 V10 7:44. So sure, the M6 is much faster if you are roll racing on the runway or at go to jail speeds on public roads. But in the real world there really is no comparison as they are no competitors to begin with anyhow.

BTW, how about you actually post some thoughts on what my original post asked about instead of taking this thread off topic?
