Thanks for the scans

200-300 km/h M6 faster than 991 turbos

And 0-300 in 30 secs its fantastic Gtr 5 sec slower R8v10 9secs slower.
M6 Crash those cars at Speed about 250kmh...
Competition paket is really worth...

Also the best fuel consumption and good brakes too, taking into account the weight

I'm surprised this thread hasn't got more coverage or comments - that's an outstanding (performance) result for the M6! 0-186mph in 30 seconds and over 9 seconds faster than the latest R8? Almost unbelievable.

But then, when I took my M6 to Germany a few weeks ago, I was stunned how quickly it accelerated above 120mph and practically headbanged the limiter at an indicated 169mph. I'm glad my perception of how fast it is in comparison to some of my previous cars was very accurate (which included a 997.2 Turbo and, more recently an SLS, both of which I was sure the M6 was quicker than at the top end).

I wonder how the M6 fared in the write up? Any insight on what they said about it against the other cars OP?

they basicly said that you still have Troubles to bring to power down on the track. even with 180kmh you have to be soft with the pedal when accelerating.
But to be hones track numbers of the m6 should be compared to the panamera Turbo S, or cls 63 amg...

they really liked the m6 as a GT car, with stunning Performance.

Down side of the Brakes, sometimes the Brakes felt a bit unsharp. What ever it means. Actually if you look Close a the brake Performance you realise that 100-0kmh in 34 meters is good, whilst 200-0 in 147 meters is to Long.
( i have to say i am very happy with the ceramic Brakes..)

This particular m6 had the akrapovic Performance M exhaust

So M6 + CP + akra Performance exhaust. They liked very mutch the sound

I got the numbers from the German comparison posted here...how accurate are they? Not sure...but at high speeds the F10 M5 or F06/F12/F13 M6 will pull on most cars especially on 4th gear and beyond, how much? Well, in real life it is up to the driver...numbers are just numbers but they give you an idea of performance...

Those numbers for the M6 are stellar.

And that picture illustrates just how butt-ugly the Gt-R is next to the other three. Not even in the same class. What an abomination on wheels. I don't care how fast you can throw poo, it's still poo. YMMV.

Interesting. This month, R&T did a feature on the best sports car in the world. The didn't pic any of the three cited in this thread's topic article. Not that it matters which car either organization chose.

What's interesting is how often folks cry "foul" if the BMW doesn't win and how they are equally uncircumspective when it does. LOL.

For my own part, my own assessment of the vehicle is all I need to make a choice. I don't really care what any magazine thinks as long as they don't go so far as to call the think an absolute travesty of engineering and design. I can probably get over a half-travesty, though. LOL.

All the best.

Wow, impressive! The m6 is fast as hell.

And a bargain compared to the 911 turbo and r8 for the performance you get. Only car that's cheaper here is the gt-r.

Who ever coined the phrase "the Nissan GTR is the super-car bargain of the century" has just been proven correct again.

m6 and GTR will depreciate more than 1/2 its price 6 years from now. all other will still be worth close what they are today. ill take the r8 or 911 all day long.
