Looks like they're finally using a good steering wheel and have actually increased the size of the water-air intercoolers as compared to the standard N63.
Should sell pretty well over here! |

I know its not a big deal, but something really should have been done with the brakes... Painted maybe an Alpinia logo doesnt seem too much to ask when your spending north of a $100k

Very good call! Considering the particularly sport-oriented intentions of this car, they really should have changed something with the brakes. I can understand the slightly more understated approach Alpina has (despite their pretty flashy body kits), which is likely why they're not bright blue with huge emblems on them, but bigger calipers and a coat of black paint would go a long way in function and form.

Check the description. Alpinas do have shift buttons, but they're integrated into the steering wheel rather than being descrete paddles. If you look carefully at pictures of the interior that show the steering wheel, you can see buttons right where your thumbs would rest if you had your hands at the 9 and 3 positions.
This is how it looks on a B7: Last edited by PABrian; 04-16-2014 at 04:41 PM.. |

I was thinking the same thing but then I pulled up some old pics of a blue Alpina 7 series and the color seemed a lot darker. Maybe it's the image?

Is the stitching on the steering wheel really green on the bottom half and blue on the top?
And if so, why? |

I'm considering flipping my M5 for the B6, but have a couple of questions.
I have the order guide, and it has a couple of standard items listed that I am not familiar with - 920 ALPINA package and 9XA ALPINA profile. Anyone know what they're comprised of? Also, is there any news on a 6er LCI? I had expected it for MY15, but there doesn't seem to be any changes.
