I love the look of the 6 GC. I liked the old 6 series coupe, but this new 6 blows the old one away!
It's the perfect length to be "sleek" if BMW got the lines rite...and they did |

Let's be honest here, despite the weight criticism and the GT oriented feel of the new 6er, BMW really nailed the entire new 6er lineup in looks, design and interior quality. Looks awesome.
I would have to say best looking 6 series ever.

We will have to see how it ages. I doubt in 20 years that it will look as good as the e24. |

I love it!
All versions of the new 6-series model look amazing imho. Really did not like the old Bangle 6:er.

This is what I've been wondering ever since I first saw this car. At the prices in question, I can't see price being much of a factor -- they aren't that different. Unless, of course, one just honestly wants a conservatively styled luxo-cruiser, but who would? Even my 94 year old father prefers the 6GC.

You could be right, but I think it's more like 40-50 years off than 20. After all, we still haven't figured out how to primarily power our societies with much other than fossil fuels. Consider that one could power all of New York for a whole year off the energy in a single bolt of lightening, yet, nobody's yet found a way to harness that energy. Hell, even nuclear energy isn't yet the dominant energy source, despite the fact that it offers far more advantages over fossil fuels. Given that, I just cannot see the auto industry moving as rapidly as your theorem suggest. But that doesn't make it a bad goal/dream.
