Has anyone had an aftermarket towbar fitted? Ideally I'd like to get one installed for a bike rack - can anyone make any recommendations? Something which the lease company would tolerate would be perfect!

Hi wobbler, did you find a suitable towbar as I maybe also be looking for one for a lease car too. I have been looking for boot mounted bike racks but haven't found a compatible one due to the bigger spoiler compared to the X3 which prevents straps which would go into the top of the boot.

No luck yet - am hoping someone on here might be able to point me in the right direction? Otherwise will speak to my local dealer for advice...

My local dealer has offered to fit an aftermarket towbar when my car arrives.
I don't know much about it other than it is detachable and £550, but at least it does suggest there are aftermarket towbars available.
