Coding on Launcher Pro 3.7

I read that some of the mappings for the current istep may not be accurate when using Launcher Pro 3.7. I plan on enabling lane change assist and add the toggle to turn on/off daytime running lights. Anyone have any issues for the iX3?

Why would you want to turn off daytime running lights?

Sometimes when in a parking lot and sitting in the car with the car in, other cars looking for a parking spot keep on stopping because they see my lights on and think I’m leaving. It gets really annoying. I want to turn on the toggle so I can turn it on and off in the menu. Since covid I usually have lunch in my car while watching something in the car. All electric is nice since I don’t have to worry about carbon monoxide poisoning in an underground garage.

I was able to code the toggle for daytime running lights into the idrive settings menu, and dvd in motion using bimmercode. I used the X3 profile, no iX3 officially supported yet. I dont seem to have any problems as of yet.

I'm interested to unlock also the VIM.
What is the best (safety) way, ordering a ODBD2 adapter and using the Bimmercode app on iPhone? I'm not an expert...

Bimmercode works fin on it, the advanced mode stuff works fine too, remember for some things you will NEED an ethernet obd2 rather than bt/WiFi as some stuff cannot be coded using an unpowered obd2.

Got sports mode etc working just fine, since 07/2021 (everything reset when updated) though I can't for the life of me get Lane change working, was on 04/2021... Not had much chance this weekend to fiddle with lappy though so will get to it over the week, work that and boost mode out.
