Extra charging port

On one of the first LCI videos, I see a second charging port on the left front side... Is this a new charging port? Or just a false render?

On other videos, this port is nowhere to be found, nor is it on the actual configurator.

As adding a second charging port is a radical change, I was wondering where the truth lies... Any experiences or info?

The second port on the Front Left is only for the Chinese market cars. The European models will only have the existing Rear Right Port.

Odd... A new (or additional?) charging port must require a huge change in config and manufacturing... So mine (Belgium) won't have two charging ports, or one at the other side of the car?

All European IX3 vehicles have the charging port on the drivers side rear panel.

Yeah Chinese one doesn't have the CCS port right rear, CCS cars don't have the front port. Due to charge infra in territories.

It's a shame we can't get that dark red interior in the UK
