Hey!

just order the iX3! But the rims drives me crazy.
I don't understand why bmw using those plastic caps.

My dealer said that on the winter wheels the platic caps can be removed? and underneath its black rims. Is that really true? Can't find any post on that. What about the summer wheels then?

Hi In Europe and the Nordics the rime have those caps. They are the 843 bicolour. Like your dealer said you could remove the caps and you will have black with the silver edges on the rims. However you may be able to paint them black and they would look the same as seen in the UK. Have a look at the topic with the title BMW IX3 UK. There are a couple of photos there.
