I am starting this thread so we don’t thread Jack our colleague’s LED Headlight thread. As I understand there is an option for a better look for our headlights. For you guys in the UK, you may want to find an installer on your side of the pond so you won’t be with out headlights for an extended time period. Once I verify what components you will need, you can order them straight from the Bavgruppe website.

I am having a company here do mine, turn around time should be about 7-8 days including shipping. Vito_ZWorks @zworklights on IG

I will see what pictures I can source but it will up to Vito if he can send any during the build.here is a video that they did on another car and also I found a pic of another M6 (not sure whose car it is) but it’s definitely possible.

There are many customizable and personalization items you can add depending if you want mild or wild...
I opted for dual honeycomb etching, 1 pair of Demon eyes, and Vision rings.

Now if they could do laser lights as an upgrade that would be awesome. I've always felt a bit cheated that in buying my car used with adaptive led lights that it doesn't have the selective beam that the LCI has.

I've found an installer relatively close by, im way too excited about this. Lol. Literally the only thing i wish i could change about my car is the led rings to hex. Will make the car look brand new.

I agree that was my only gripe with this model was that it didn't have the headlights i wanted. The other option was a non M SPort convertible, but i am glad i made this choice.

Side note:
While the headlights are out and she will be sitting in the shop, JB4 is coming out, downpipes going in, and tune going in.... she is going to be a completely new beast...early birthday present to myself

Do you know if the rings require any coding ? Or are they just plug and play?

Would be great to see a how to, but I'm imagining the lens needing to be separated though heat / cooking. Looking forward to the results.. as above lights are my only gripe with the car.

My CURRENT understanding is they are plug and play with an included module. I will confirm with V.

Definitely share so that there are other options available to anyone interested

I never like to really discuss how much I actually spend without checking with vendor first out of respect, and each build is completely customizable so I will give you the range from least mild to extreme based on how crazy you want your setup to be. I ended up between 1450- and 2300 full tricked out.
Options I finally choose are:
-dual etched honeycomb lens
-single set of RGB demon eyes
-Vision style rings switchback
-Gloss Black painted housing

A basic build might be single or non etched lens with your logo choice, Vision Rings and paint.
A more extreme build might be RGB Vision rings, dual etched lens, dual demon eyes, carbon fiber eyelids, paint choice include gloss, satin, or matte black, sidemarker upgrade options. Just really what you want your lights to do.

If I still did shows I might have gotten a more extreme build, but I just wanted a subtle upgrade with the option of being able to add a little bit of color in the healdlights thus the Demon eye choice. I opted for this because on my last build I only chose a single color and regretted now having the option to switch it up.

So the process has begun: lights shipped out. While the whip is down for a week decided to get some other stuff fixed as well. Here some pics in the shop and what’s to come.

I like the yellow accents what happened to the bottom part of your front bumper? Is the car so low?

That has been a bunch of scrapes from even before I lowered it. So before putting on front lip I am just taking the time to get everything fixed.

This outfit is based in Birmingham. They also do some other cool lighting changes on the interior I'm contemplating having done.

So headlights are being finished up, bumper is about done. Down pipes are in and it sounds amazing ( will post the vid soon). Picked up a 3D printed intake MAF and some Spectre intakes and tubing also! Here are some pics of the setup and will get you some of the install along the way. Overall to complete intake cost was right under 600. I am not a big fan of CF so I went this route. Quality is amazing and looks lovely. Also I found another dude who has some of Zworklights goes to my shop, and after seeing them installed I am really excited about that as well. Tuning is up next on the list...

Nice clean look to those headlights. Are the turn signals sequential when they flash (Audi style)?....
