Assholes! Why do people have to do that? I was involved in a hit and run and it pissed me off to no end that after a month of stewing on it I happen to find the guy after he pulled up to me at a signal light, it was sweet revenge

Sorry to hear that.

My son got involved in an accident few months ago and the other party does not have insurance. He did not even show up at the collision centre. My Insurance Co. pursue it, luckily my son took picture of the license plate number.

Man that sucks... 2 weeks ago someone hit my wife's car and left too... went to the plaza security and saw the girl leave after she hit the car on the security camera... the car was a brand new mini with no plates...

OUCH!!!! Seems we all have one of those stories. At least no body damage -- only bumper cover replacement. Feel for you man.

Car was parked and not moving. Would this not be considered damage under the "comprehensive" catagory? If so, other than the deductible, you should not have to pay anything? Am I wrong?

I had a pick up truck back into me while parked at a gas station once and the impact while slow was able to crack and misalign a headlight and also leave a dent on the front bumper. This costed about $7500 to fix since they had to replace the headlight and the bumper along with all of the mounting components. Mine was the LCI model so the LED headlights were more expensive to replace. Yours should be much less but at least within the $5000 range if you take it to a BMW CCRC.

The gas station was kind enough to provide me with the footage so once I sent that to my insurance company, it was a no fault claim for me. I would probably see if the property has any footage but most will likely not give it out this easily.
