How To Remove Center Console Flaps

Just curious if any knows how to remove the two flap doors, I've searched all over newtis and have the console out of the car now but cant seem to separate them

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the exact same issue with elbow wear on one side. How bigger job is it to remove the pair like you have already?....

According to the the parts catalog on RealOEM, what you show in your pic is a single part, so they are not meant to be separated. That does not necessarily mean they cannot be, but they may have been assembled in such a way that they cannot be disassembled w/o breaking something.

Quick update, I was able to separate the doors from actual console. I think I will have to break the inner plastic bezel but working on a way to do it and salvage all the pieces. I plan on using actual leather rather than the original vinyl.

I'd take it to your upholstery guy and let him deal with changing out the pieces, he'd be the guy who'd know if it can be done or not. It might be a heck of a lot easier, but not necessarily cheaper to just replace the whole unit.

Currently working with a local upholstery shop. Trying to find a better solution for members cause I’m sure I’m not the only one with this issue.

Used a thicker leather rather than the cheap vinyl and has them run a red stitch.

I’m searching all over on how to remove the armrest on my 18 m6 to replace it with a new one
I bought but can’t really find anything . If anyone here can help that would be great
