Front Splitter - Issues during winter?

I recently bought an EBAY front splitter and am now unsure if I want to install it.

Does anyone have experience driving in the winter with a front splitter (specially a knock oof), and can speak to durability of the splitter in cold weather and driving on snowy roads?

I don't want to install it only to find out that the knock off splitter is too weak to withstand Canadian winters and either it cracks from the cold or something happens when driving on snowy roads.

Thanks

FWIW, I can't speak for a cheaper version (I have the OEM part), but I can say that the lip has held up surprisingly well. I have hit a couple of good sized ice chunks over the last two winters with the car - the ones that fall off the truck in front of you! - and each time I thought that the lip would be damaged, but when I get out of the car and look....no problem.

The only issue I have is plowing my street for everyone when it snows...pic below shows my old iPhone 5s in an Otterbox Defender. Couldn't even fit it under the lip!!

My first replica lip, from "idontremeberthecompany.com' was from ebay. Company based out of Thailand I think, It flew off on the highway... Chances are all the rivet heads got damaged from all the scraping it was introduced to during the rough roads/winter in Alberta. My second replica, Ikonmotorsports, has held up 1000X better. It feels much stronger/secure. But FWIW the first one, definitely couldn't withstand the winter months...

I'm sure you will be happy, mine is holding up extremely well. I did add 3M tape to what was already supplied after a quick sand and adhesion promoter. Which I would recommend
