Just got a trickle charger. What charge mode?

I assume it's one of the 12v modes and a quick Google shows our car uses AGM battery so maybe 12v AGM?

12V AGM assuming it is or was replaced with original battery type. Generally it will not hurt is you you charge a wet cell even though it is set as AGM. The charging currents are not extremely high.

Def AGM (I do not know if it matters, but I called dealer to double-check when I set mine up)

Have you looked at the battery yet? There should be information on the stickers applied to the battery that will let you know if it is AGM or Lithium etc....and what its voltage is.
