I came here for pics and found car porn.

Beautifully modded car, Flo1989.

Where did you procure your rear decklid spoiler from? And it looks like a Vorsteiner style? It seems the fitment is great.

I'm on my second V style from two different online vendors and not crazy thrilled with the quality & fitment. I'm still looking for the right one.

Lightest option is the "Tint", I think.
Gives it a darker red hue.

- Leo.
So the first picture in their slide (after the video) seems to be the same film. I think their car example is an order Porsche tail light? As you carry on through the slide, they get darker & darker which is not the same shade as mine. I think the BMW 3 series photo is also the light tint as well. As long as it's like either of those two you're good to go! Lmk how it works out for you.

Lmaoo thanks man!

Here's the direct link to the one I ordered: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fits-11-17-...item2a9de66844

It's really a hit or miss with these types of things. Fitment was probably 9/10. The CF weave is decent. Maybe 8/10. But this is me comparing it my diffuser which definitely cost a looot more, so I'd expect slight differences in quality. I'm decent with a DA polisher so I was able to "jewel up" the spoiler to a very acceptable finish.

At it's price point, you cant go wrong giving it a shot. And if you aren't pleased with the quality, they have a 30 day return policy.

AH - FINALLY! 4 1/2 months later and my Meisterschaft mid section has finally arrived! Talk about testing ones patience.. I think I mentioned it before but I'm going with a hybrid set up...not sure if it's actually been done before either, but I have high hopes for the outcome.

VRSF catless DP's > Meisterschaft mid pipe/velocity box > Megan Racing Axle Back

The mid section gets installed next week...I should have some sound clips for those interested.

Well packaged by GT Haus btw...also a nice touch with the disposable mask. Thanks to Mike GTHAUS & Chris vividracing for fulfilling my order.

Finally! Good to see you actually have it in your hands. I want to see what it sounds like with the different combination of parts you have

I am anxious to see how the center section changes the exhaust. I am about to get the Megan mufflers and VRSF DP's as well. Worried about drone at all? How is your Ebay deck spoiler holding up?

If youíre going from stock straight to that exhaust set up, let me tell you youíre in for a treat - completely wakes the car up! As for drone, I donít think theyíll be much - or too much for me to handle. Many folks are running full catless Eisenmann, Meisterschaft or RPI exhaust so I should be fine. Youíll definitely want to turn off the active sound if you havenít already bc that will definitely make the drone unbearable once you go catless.

The trunk spoiler is good - no issues to speak of. I donít foresee any either.

New M6 Owner

Great thread. I just picked up an M6 GC myself - and looking to do similar mods.

Flo1989 - Awesome build.. looks great! I'm going for a very similar build. One question on the Megan Axleback exhaust, is it required to be welded or can it be clamped on do you know?

I had Megan exhausts on both my E46 and E92 M3s, and loved them, they sound great.

Thanks for the info!

Thanks man! And welcome to the club - you're going to love it.

In theory you could probably clamp the axle back on, but you're going to have to cut the factory pipes to put them on at which point I found it best to weld it on. The Megan system is really a muffler back oppose to axle back, as you can see from the photo below.

I really wanted to wait to post a video until I was able to get some proper outside driving footage but I'm not sure when that'll be so I decided to share the video that I currently have.

Impressions of the added mid-pipe? I love it. My intent was to create a higher pitched tone and it does just that. Anything over 4k RPM and she screams. Revving video's sound good, but we all know that cars sound different until WOT which I why I still plan to get that footage posted for anyone interested. You can kind of hear it at the end of the video if you listen closely, but this was recorded inside the car from an iPhone so it doesn't do it much justice.

For reference, my buddy with a e63s who I run with all the time thought I switched to a whole new exhaust lol.
