Arrived, 17 Comp Coupe, Build Tracking; Pics did not load in previous thread

After months of searching for the right m6, she arrived Sunday night.
17 comp coupe

Bought from Grand Prix motors in Portland, Oregon (10/10 buying experience)....all the way to Orlando.
25k miles and clean as new. Drove it last night, blown away. Going to tune shop tomorrow to arrange tune, down pipes, wheels, lip, diffuser, skirts. Been racking up little things like emblems, grills, and carbon fiber interior items.

Then wrap (satin black) on 1/3.

Don’t know if I posted pics correctly. Going to track the build in this thread.

Random questions

I’m doing something wrong with my M1 and M2 settings. They don’t save and I have to reset every time. What am I missing?

Also, my fuel gauge is off. I filled up and only showing half tank. Is there somewhere in infotainment I can use for fuel readings?

Someone else can probably be more helpful but one thing I've noticed with my M6 is that sometimes the wrong profile gets loaded by the car.

I set up a profile for myself and my wife, I thought tied to each of our keys. But she has driven the car with her key and the profile seemingly switched to mine at some point during the drive, and I have driven with my key and the profile switched to hers. I wasn't paying enough attention to tell exactly when this happened.

So if your settings aren't what you saved, you might be bringing up a different profile from the one where you saved the M1 and M2 settings.

ETA: Nice car!!

Nice pick up. The 601M wheel look pretty good in black on the white.

For the M buttons it does have to do with the profiles. Had the same issues when I first got mine.

Beautiful car, congrats on the buy! I finally got my Vorsteiner VFF-103 wheels on and Michelin PS4S tires, and on H&R Springs, which I would deff recommend. I did see a set of KW Height Adjustable Springs for sale in the members classified section which I would jump on immediately if you want to lower yours and want the flexibility to adjust height. My H&R Springs are lower than the lowest setting on those KW's but I never have clearance or scrape issues here in Ocala.

Settings --> Profiles (towards the bottom).

Then you choose one of the three slots. Move right when one is selected to see the option to rename it.

Will this allow me to change the actual settings or just the name?

I deleted the settings thinking I could adjust them after. Where do I go for that?

Thanks guys, trying to figure this thing out

Have you installed the driver's guide on your smart phone? All explained there - sometimes reading user manual actually is a good thing to do… LOL

M1/M2 buttons not saving … where do you keep the second car key? I had a similar issue and it turned out that my car was picking up the profile of the second key from inside my house. I moved the second key further away from the garage. Button settings saved after that.

I don’t have the second key
Dealer delivered car but they are checking to see if they can find

Somehow, my m1 settings popped right up today. Fought with CarPlay for a bit but working now. I drive, manage devices.

Went to tune shop.
Gonna do catless, bootmod, spacers, lower a little, and vorsteiner aero package

This lets you set/load the profile and rename the profile. Once a profile is set, then you go back to M1 and M2 settings and change then, and they will be saved to the currently selected profile. If you change the profile then you have to set the M1 and M2 again for that profile.

So the next time you drive the car if you load the same profile, the M1 and M2 settings should be there reflecting what you saved.

However if a different profile gets loaded then the M settings from that profile will get loaded.

Hope that was clear!

Thank you. It's working now, but I will revisit this if so. Great info. Feel like a total idiot on this thing. My daily driver is 3/4 ton diesel.

Here's a question for the group:
On the aero package, I went with Vorsteiner. Can't decide on the front spoiler. V or rounded?

Leaning rounded currently.

Back from the wrap shop. Love the Satin Black. Changed some badges and emblems too.

Getting tune/downpipes/spoiler/diffuser/spacers/springs next. Can't get the side blades anywhere though. I'll go back and get those.

Love this car!

Build is coming along

Wrapped, lowered a little, bootmod3, down pipes, lip, spoiler and diffuser done.
Waiting on side blades and spacers. The bolts were not right for the spacers so had to take them off.

The car is so fun to drive. Looks, sounds and performance all more than I could ask for. Got a transmission temp warning but it went right away.
