Solved: High battery discharge

Hi,

My 2006 E64 has given this warning for about a year now, but since I have a new battery, there have not been any problems with starting the car. I had the car inspected at a local specialist last week and they noticed that the Bluetooth module was dead. Since I don't use it, they applied a wiring component (worth 21 EUR) that disables the module. This solved the problem for me.

I wrote this because I tried to locate the problem myself by browsing this forum, but there were a lot of issues which could cause this. In my case, this could have been verified by trying to enable the Bluetooth feature from the onboard computer. It said something like "Bluetooth unit not found", and I though my car was not even equipped with it.

Maybe someone will find this helpful. Cheers from Andalucia, Spain :-)
