spotify Idrive 4

I can connect spotify to my Idrive 4 head unit, but the controls are limited. I can't access playlists for example.

Has anyone using spotify in their M6 with idrive 4 able to access all the menus?

All I can do is change song. But to change playlists, I have to use the phone which could net me a $600 distracted driving ticket.
