Help with dent on m6
Has anyone come across a dent on the bend side like in the pictures? This is what I get for trying to get front parking. Given the location of it, can this be fixed by some DIY method or is it best to get done professionally?
Thanks! |

You cannot DIY that - unless you already have body and paint skills. I am fairly certain that cannot be fixed with paintless dent repair (PDR) because it is on the crease where the metal is much harder to work, but you could ask a PDR place. Failing that, the dent will need to be repaired, spot painted and clear applied on the whole door. $500+ for a good job. PDR, if it can be done, would be $100ish.

If the paint has cracked, your going to need that section repainted and blended in. If 8ts not cracked, a skilled pdr can get that out. First picture looks like the paint was cracked. I went through something like that on my 5 series. Windy day and some lady's kid opened his back door carelessly and dented the car. Cost $500 to get done.
