I remember the leaks of new M3/M4 and 2 series on this site which turned out to be 100% accurate despite fanboys' outrage. Can anyone point to instances where any other leaks turned out to be fake? Genuinely wondering.

Look at the latest M2 spy photos. They are not the G80 headlights. You can get a glimpse of the headlight. You can see it is the G42 2 series new single corona and it swoops up as it gets closer to grill. Same lights as M240.

Right the lower intake is the size of those crazy big front mount intercoolers and as I said in the earlier posts theirs no room for the crush beam and license plate.

Those where all more than just some bumper in the middle of a warehouse.

So those all has more validity to them.

I believed all the G80/82 leaks. But the fact this bumper leak doesn't work with G42 headlights, I don't think it is real. No way BMW would make separate headlights for just the M2. Also new M2 camo pics show peeks of headlights and they look just like the M240.

It seems M2 will come with double headlight unit.

Latest spy pics say otherwise.

You can see the M240 single bar lower corona.

The difference being the G8x bumper leaks were actually photographed on the cars.

I am holding out hope for a different headlight design, but understand that it's a very unlikely possibility.

Only BMW AG could be this out of touch with the general public and have the arrogance to still shove it down our throats, even if we express distaste.

I don't know, I believe it's more that likely the real deal but in light of some new perspectives, I'll now hedge my bets incase their is an off chance that it this is some sort of mock-up.

However, I will say is that its existence in this point of the game is just strait-up bizarre. 🤨

A cynical person might even call this a calculated execution intended to provoke a response 🤔 but I'm much more grounded than that. 😎
Not sure BMW cares what the response is to their designs. If they did I do not believe the 4 series would have turned out the way it did.

I figure that much.. I was merely just spitballing theories, trying to maybe make sense of the existence into this strange bumper.

I might do more than just tell them they're fired. The grill on the M240 looks great. Why does the M2 need to be different?

If this were true, would this make it the only two piece grill left in the BMW lineup?

Wouldn't make much sense to wander from their current design language.
