New member with a Monte Carlo Blue M6 Gran Coupe

Hi guys... finally after waiting for 5 months for my "birthday gift to myself" to arrive, it is here!

A Monte Carlo Blue M6 Gran Coupe (which I believe is one of the first ever, as I haven't seen one before), interior is Amaro Brown and Piano Black trim.

Thanks guys... Will try to get some better pics when I can.

In terms of options, it has full leather interior with contrast stitching, B&O, piano black trim, exec package, driver package. I guess pretty much everything except for CCB and comp package (as it wasn't available yet when I placed the order).

Hi guys,

I'm having a problem with the HUD, every time I get into the car the HUD isn't set to the M View mode, I have to always manually go into the settings and select M View, unlike my E60 M5, where it was always in M View mode. The only workaround I found was to program the M1/M2 buttons to have the M View and select one of them every time I get into the car. It isn't really a hassle to do it like that, but I would've thought that the M View could be setup to be the default HUD mode.

i remember doing this on the e60 m5 on the idrive under the m settings, might be similar on your car as well, not too sure.

I do have the same Problem with my 2104 M6 cp. It Looks to me that the m view can not be set as the default Setting in the Hud. Like you said it must be done manualy. Unless programed in M1 or M2...
I think my 2012 m5 was different and it workt there but not 100% sure.
