Meh. I'm not digging the styling compared to the M5. The M6 GC does look like it has some slight upgrades from the M5, though (carbon fiber rear accent piece, carbon fiber roof, M6 badge on the front grille, M6 steering wheel, etc.). It'll probably be faster with since things like the carbon fiber roof (w/o sunroof) will no doubt drop the overall vehicle weight- assuming they don't add on other creature comforts to pile on additional weight.
I can already see some IND doing cosmetic package upgrades for it. |

Does that mean the GC will be priced lower than the estimated $120,000?

I sure hope they do more than just convert the DE price (less VAT) to USD to come up with the US pricing. If they do nothing but convert euros to dollars, this is going to be a $141K+ car here in the US. At that point, one is really looking at a whole different class of car. I was expecting it to be something like $120K, but not $140K+.
The truth for me is that the added performance of the M version is of little to no use to me, so it'd be hard to buy this car over some other great looking cars that are similarly priced.

Styling wise absolutely. I wouldn't buy any other M car rather than this one. Even I'd prefer the old V10 paired with the SMG in it. But I totally agree on your point. The way it's going is not so great. Twin turbo, comfortable allrounders is not really the car for enthusiasts anymore.

Gorgeous car, the link back to the racing heritage not so much. Did the old car have premium speakers? did it have paddings everywhere? lol, trying too hard, marketing hype

The M6 with carbon roof is already as heavy as the M5. What makes you think with 2 more seats and 2 more doors will make it 6?
