Group Buy Opp/GTS OLED 6 Series Taillights

Hey Everyone,

They make so many products and parts for the the other M models but the 6 gets NO love!!!

I have been talking with Simon over at Keep Your Car Safe (KYCS) in the UK and if we can get enough of us on board, they can custom design and manufacture tail lights like the market did for the f10 5 series!!!

If we can do a large 200 person group buy, then we can get the pair at close to market cost (~$800 pair).

I am shooting over what a properly done GTS OLED tail light for the f10 5-er looks like, as well as the superimposed lights on our beloved 6-er. This is the dream!

I posted this in November in the M6 group. We are currently at 120 people interested, but due to increased minimum unit count for the order I am reposting in the 6-er forum

Yooooo!!! I'm excited to announce that BavGruppe is going to pick up the project. Tom over there is going to create a sign up link and we need 250+ orders which between my list and their market exposure I don't think will be an issue!!

Anybody installed theirs yet? - I did and get an error code of 2 stage taillight malfunction on the right and left.

Fixed with coding from BIMMERCODE. Had to code to LED tails but I was looking for an excuse to get bimmercode anyway. Only issue I am having is that when the brake lights illuminate (red), the turn signals also illuminate (amber). If the turns were red, really wouldn't be an issue but since they are amber, kind of looks like a mistake. Thinking it may also be illegal where I'm at as brake lights have to be red. I have an email into Bavgruppe to see if there is coding that can remedy this or if it was intentional for some reason. Kind of reminds me of a Hooptie with and electrical problem. Any thoughts?

They are aware of this situation and are working on having a fix for it soon.

Yeah, I installed mine and coded via Bimmercode and having the same issue.
