Anyone use Leasehacker?
Anyone here use leasehacker? Sorry for the noob question I seen it mentioned somewhere and was wondering how it works. My last 5 cars have been bmw and I have someone who has his own leasing company (met him in grade school) and he always got me my beemers.
Is leasehacker a better way? That forum looks all mumbojumbled so can someone kindly tell me whats good about lease hacker vs your local lease guy and if going the lease hacker route is worth it |

I didn't have much luck personally. It was a bit too clique'ish for me, and the ones I reached out had issues with follow-through (lack thereof). I swear they also have a backchannel where they coordinate and inform amongst themselves. For example, say you reach out to one person, then they'll post on their backchannel about it, thereby ensuring you won't find any deals with the others. Maybe that's paranoia/conspiracy, but it fits my experience. They weren't much better than dealer sales in my opinion.

Leasehackr is great tool for information on what deals are out there. But, the regular forum members are not generally open to noobs coming in looking for an easy, great deal to be handed to them just for showing up.
The regulars take pride in their knowledge and respect those that approach the process through reading the other posts, learning and doing for yourself. Well thats my experience and i really enjoy and appreciate the benefits of that site.

Agreed, LeasehackR is almost the "best one off deal you can find, let's see if you guys can get the same" and when you chase that deal gets your hopes up - until you roll the dice on one broker and the follow up is up to how bad they want the business. Normally inventory is a challenge or logistics after you get the pricing out of the way.
I can help with general information if you need MF or Residuals, but I'm out of CA not NYC. DM me if you need help or have questions about build times/general pricing. |

We are one of the major BMW brokers on LH, it's how I learned to get my first great deal when I was 19 and probably responsible for the insane amount of cars I've had in the last 10 years.
To echo what SpeedyATL said, if you and post just asking to be spoon fed and not use a broker, the regular crowd won't usually indulge that, but there is also a large marketplace of brokers, like myself, who will usually get a deal as good or better than what you can get on your own, but without spending hours or days of your life to do it. To answer your question about what is better about it: Pricing. Leasehackr brokers are focused on bottomed out pricing, and you pay them a flat fee to get it. Many (but not all) local brokers are more about making as much money off of you as possible.
