Just a fun story

Have been down ill since Labor Day (US). Sucks when you’re at home and you have all the time off from work but you feel too crappy to do ANYthing. Finally got back to work on Thursday. I have a hell of a long commute, but the first 2/3 is an open freeway early in the morning. Let’s say I enjoy the drive.

BLUF: A coughing fit saved me from a ticket.


Broke through a small block of unexpected traffic, and opened it back up again.

Cruising up, about to gently pass a black SUV by changing to #2 lane.

Got up right next to him and saw
the white doors. 😳
Yeah, it was a cop.

My heart dropped. His lights go on.

And I started with the WORST coughing fit. 🤮 Holding my temples, because it felt like my brain was going to burst.

Our windows were right next to each other. He must’ve been looking right at me.

He turned his lights off and left me alone.

Hmmm, perhaps there are some positives from the COVID pandemic. Not that you have COVID…but it makes people think twice approaching another person if they may have something that could be seen as communicable.

No, no COVID. Just picked up a bug from a sweetie. It was a fun date though!
