Lowering 650i but keeping factory EDC/adaptive dampening control

I have been wanting to lower my 6 series however thought about the factory EDC that will be effected once lowered. As of now, I only know two items that would keep the factory EDC active and that is the H&R lowering springs and the KW height adjustable spring kit. Because of wanting to keep the adaptive dampening control, I had to avoid coilovers and air suspension and also heard that Eibach lowering springs triggered sensors to go off?

Was hoping I could get some insight from those who knows more or who has lowered their cars!

Yes I know I can manually dampen the suspension however I do like the pleasure of switching from comfort mode to sport mode with a touch of a button. I posted the link for the KW suspension kit below.

Yep get the Eibach (less drop, softer ride) or H&R (more drop, stiffer ride) neither causes any "sensors" they're just springs

I have the H&R VTF. It's coil over springs that retain the EDC. It does not cause my height sensors (name?) to go off.

How much of a drop compared to stock? Also how much stiffer than stock on the first springs you mentioned?

KW or BC coilovers they have edc delete module allows it to work just your chassis damper won’t work because your coilovers are already set up with there own dampeners that you can make soft or stiff

I just lowered My 14 650i M Sport with the Eibach Pro Line springs. No issues at all. About a 1" drop and rides about the same as it did with stock springs. Overall happy with the results. I would of liked the look of the 2" drop from the Eibach Sport line but was afraid of the rougher ride, so I just did the 1" drop.

Now looking at wheel spaces to bring them closer to fenders so they look even better.
