My 640d GC Build

Front Bumper Inserts (Part 1)

I don't know the technical or actual term for it but had the bumper inserts wrapped gloss black. It's the look I had on my F30 with the M Performance Splitter that sat ontop of the bumper at the ends.

Looks more aggressive which I like!

Part 2 will be spraying the lower 3 grilles gloss black to match and tie in the front. Also the fog light housing will be sprayed to match

Bavarian Coding is a company who do retrofits and idrive upgrades etc. They did ID6, Car Play and Alpina Flash for me. They can also do the bimmercode options/changes for you too.

Just an update on my personal build thread and will probably be the last update on here...

The car has now been stripped and put back to stock. It will be part exchanged for something else... I have seen a few replacements but will be deciding very soon.

11 months of ownership, lots of mods during that time but it's been very enjoyable doing what I did. The F06 is a great car in many ways! Just felt it was time to move on.

As mentioned, the car has been stripped to stock so I have a few bits for sale. If you have followed the build, you know I've not had the parts for long.

I will post this in the classified but I will have for sale the following:

Maxton Front Splitter, Side Splitters and Rear Side Splitters

M Style dual slat grilles - Gloss Black

M Style mirror caps - Gloss Black

60w CREE LED Pure White reverse bulbs

73mm in, 101mm out Exhaust Tips

4 x 18" Borbet Alloys (Ideal use with winter tyres)

Foot pedal set (Accelerator, Brake and Footrest)


I will put up a classified for all these but message me on here or instagram (project640d) if interested. As i'm looking to get rid, will consider your offers!

I was fortunate to find some one that took alot of the parts together.

There is some chrome on the door handles and the badges at the back will be going gloss black.

Exhaust tips are chrome - BMW cherge £102 per side for the dark chrome tips

Yes, part ex'd it to the same dealer and sales person who sold me the 6. Gave me more then I expected and also discounted the new car too which was nice.
