Theoretically yes. You should try to use the largest capacity AGM that will physically fit into the battery compartment.

That said, I believe BMW only makes the 95 and 105 ah AGMs. And if you were to take it to BMW, they would recommend you replace it with a battery of the same ah as before.

Remember, you'll still have to code the battery after install

yes,I know, I still remember that this forum has an enthusiastic partner who can help us remotely register the battery for free. I am just curious if replacement the 200ah battery is better for M6.

Better? No. If you lived in Ontario Canada, then the added AH capacity possibly might help if difficulty starting in extremely cold weather was experienced. Increasing the AH won't make the car perform or run any better. I'd stick with the original capacity.

I have encountered other problems caused by poor batteries. If there is a better choice, why not?

Go OEM only. BMW's are notorious for electrical issues when the battery is drained or if an aftermarket battery is used.

A good OEM battery will always be better than a poor after market one. Frankly, I cannot see you'll gain anything at all by going for a bigger capacity. Unless you're trying to run some mindblowingly power hungry accessories when the engine's switched off!
